|Recommended: YesLove living here, but just a few small things. — As I've lived here a month now, I've noticed some smaller details that I missed in my initial inspection.
1 I don't think the remodelers laid down any tarps when they repainted the walls. My floors are speckled with dried paint that I have to scrape off.
2 I documented the dents in the floors in my initial inspection. But there are also a couple of places where the floors are scratched.
3 One of my bathroom doors is not aligned properly and won't shut fully.
My one main peeve of living here is the Trash Valet. It is not worth 25, especially considering they don't pick up recycling. This really annoys me and a couple other tenets I've talked to.
All of that considered, I really do like living here. And every time I've interacted with DeAndre in the office, he's been extremely helpful and nice.

|Recommended: YesIt's nice. I appreciate that it is safe and secure. I love the design and the choice of materials. The architect had thought about putting curtains that work or a screen in the common area. It is too exposed at night to be useful., — The property is nice and it is secure. Units are small for the price and the architect should have considered locating fewer windows and patios to the north and more to the beautiful views to the east. Screening, curtains, or vegetation at the north windows would create a more pleasant buffer to 500 S. The access to Trolley Square is wonderful. The staff and property management is friendly and accessible. A very comfortable and secure place to live.

|Recommended: YesGreat place for couples and students — We love the apartment. The staff are wonderful and always able to help. We however are complained against often because we have a two year old that stomps around when we try to put him to bed or if I play the piano with headphones in. Apparently the sound between floors is not done as well because I purchased sound proof material and our neighbor still is bothered by the noise.

|Recommended: YesOne of the best apartments — First of all, the manager in the apartment is very friendly and helpful.
And maintenance people are always responsible. They will always fix my problems ASAP.
For parking, I only have a bike, it is hard to park my bike so that I need to rent a storage room for it.
The whole apartment is always clean.
There is a little noise at night if my neighbours play loud sound, but I think it is OK since the sound insulation system is good.
The only problem I meet here is the room design. I live in the 1b1b apartment and there are no windows in my bedroom which makes me allergy after wake up.
Overall, Moda Newhouse is still a great apartment and I will recommend it to my friends.

|Recommended: YesQuiet, clean, and close to many downtown ammenities — My partner and I have lived in Moda Newhouse for two years - we started in a studio and moved to a one bedroom on the same floor after our first lease had ended. We have loved living here It's quiet we've heard our neighbors maybe once in the two years we've been here , comfortable washer dryer, dishwasher, and central AC heating are all in your apartment, plus we've yet to run out of hot water , and the location is a short walk from Liberty park, bars, grocery stores, TRAX, and entertainment venues. I would highly recommend Moda Newhouse to any of you considering it

|Recommended: YesI love this place — I grew up in LA and lived in apartments, good and bad, all my life. This place is by far the best. Living in an apartment you expect to hear your neighbors, but it's rare for me to hear anything. The location is perfect. The best part is the management. I was in a very unique situation when moving in and Sophie went out of her way to find information and make the move in process smooth. Interacting with DeAndre WILL put a smile on your face I've approached him with countless ridiculous questions and he always responds with his contagious smile and takes care of me immediately. They make you feel like family.

|Recommended: YesBest apartment I think I've ever lived in. — I love my apartment. Because of covid-19 I had to move away from my high-risk roommate a nurse - god bless her . I don't think I've ever hear my neighbors on either side of me, and whomever lives above me is very quiet - I can hear them walking around once in a while I think when they're tidying up or whatever . I feel very safe here as well. Smith's is right across the street, and Trader Joe's and Whole Paycheck is just a little more than a block away. TRAX is a tiny walk further, as are Starbucks and other places.
